Next up, the Hornets face the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks (Winnsboro, SC) in a game, on Thursday, September 5. C.A. Johnson will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Mavericks go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lamar (Lamar, SC).

The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Lee Central (Bishopville, SC). The Stallions go into the A Region 3 game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Lee Central went down by Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
