In Tuesday's league match, the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A match, on Friday, September 6. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Comets enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC).
