Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central of Clay County improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Volunteers host Woodland (Woodland, AL) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wadley for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Handley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Handley (Roanoke, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
