Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cheylin Cougars (Bird City, KS), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Wheatland-Grinnell advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Thunderhawks travel to Russell (Russell, KS) to face the Broncos in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 1-1. Russell lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Ellis (Ellis, KS)

The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Valley for a Western Kansas Liberty test on Tuesday, September 3. Cheylin will face a Huskies squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Cheylin (Bird City, KS). The Huskies record now stands at 0-2.
