In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Prout Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Cranston West Falcons.
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Hope was tipped by Middletown (Middletown, RI), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Cranston West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
