Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) and the visiting Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN), observed Dyer County's volleyball team top Obion County by a tally of 3-0.

The Choctaws (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian Academy was beaten by Lexington (Lexington, TN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rebels meet the Halls Tigers (Halls, TN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Obion County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Brighton (Brighton, TN).
