Next, the Mustangs meet the Hampton Hawks (Hampton, NE) in a D2 District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. McCool Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE).
