The Wildcats now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Pikeville for a District 59 bout on Wednesday, September 4. Shelby Valley will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Martin County (Inez, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, East Ridge drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 3-6.
