With the win, Eupora improves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to Union (Union, MS) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a battle on Thursday, September 5. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a record of 20-5. Union won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS)

The Panthers now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houlka for a Class 1A Region 4 battle on Monday, September 9.
