Pioneer Charter School of Science II Pirates (Saugus, MA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Excel Academy Charter Wolves (East Boston, MA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Pioneer Charter School of Science II improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates host Boston Collegiate (Boston, MA) to face the Hurricanes in a MCSAO test on Thursday, September 5. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-1. Boston Collegiate lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate (Lynn, MA)

The Wolves now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pioneer Charter School of Science for a MCSAO test on Thursday, September 5. Excel Academy Charter will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Neighborhood House Charter (Dorchester, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
