The Hawks now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pascagoula for a Class 6A Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 5. Hancock will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Picayune drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Maroon tide travel to George County (Lucedale, MS) to clash with the Rebels in a Class 6A Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 5. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 9-4. George County won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS)
