In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Wagener-Salley War Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans.

The War Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Pelion edged Swansea (Swansea, SC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC) in a A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC).
