In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Jackson Day Mariners volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sugar Creek Wildcats.

The Mariners (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions come into the Metro Eight 1A challenge with a 3-4 record.

Next, the Wildcats play the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls (Concord, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A battle, on Friday, September 13. Sugar Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
