In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Saint James Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Marbury Bulldogs.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL). The Toros enter the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Spanish Fort beat McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Montgomery Catholic Knights (Montgomery, AL) in a 5A Area 6 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Marbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Holtville (Deatsville, AL).
