The Southmont Mounties volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers to 0 in the Mounties league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mounties now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Western Boone for a Sagamore outing on Wednesday, September 4. Southmont will play a Stars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN). The Stars record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, North Montgomery drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Chargin' chargers travel to Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 4. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Riverton Parke won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN)
