In Tuesday's non-league match, the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) volleyball squad overcame the visiting North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Cobras battle the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) in a Class 3A Region 7 match, on Thursday, September 5. Wesson will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record.

The Jaguars (3-10) will now prepare for their match against Franklin County (Meadville, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Franklin County notched a victory over Amite County (Liberty, MS), 3-0, in a non-league match.
