The South Platte Blue Knights volleyball squad (Big Springs, NE), was defeated 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE)

With the win, Perkins County improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Plainsmen host St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to encounter the Irish in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Irish go into the battle with a record of 2-1. St. Patrick's won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE)

The Blue Knights now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paxton for a D1 District 12 battle on Friday, September 6. South Platte will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
