In Tuesday's league challenge, the host West Marion Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Perry Central Bulldogs.

The Trojans (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Fighting Irish come into the Class 3A Region 8 challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick beat Perry Central (New Augusta, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS) in a Class 3A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Perry Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS).
