In Tuesday's non-league match, the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) volleyball squad tipped the host Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 5. Ripley will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Skyhawks enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).
