Georgia High School Volleyball - Upson-Lee edged by Stratford Academy

September 3, 2024: Thomaston, GA 30286

Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Stratford Academy improves its record to 12-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA) to face the Cavaliers in a GIAA 6AAA test on Thursday, September 5. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 5-5. Mount de Sales Academy won 3-0 in their recent league test against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA)

The Knights now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spalding for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5.
