Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Abington Heights moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Lackawanna 1 test on Friday, September 5. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Scranton Prep lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)

The Cougars now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wallenpaupack Area for a Lackawanna 1 test on Saturday, September 6. Valley View will clash with a Buckhorns team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA). The Buckhorns record now stands at 1-2.
