In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Carteret Ramblers soccer squad scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Somerset Tech Jaguars.

The Ramblers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ). The Destroyers go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Dunellen by Mother Seton (Clark, NJ), 5-0, in a league test.

The Jaguars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Perth Amboy Vo-Tech for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Somerset Tech will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to South River (South River, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
