In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Roaring Fork Rams soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Basalt Longhorns.
The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record.
Next up, the Longhorns play the Grand Junction Central Warriors (Grand Junction, CO) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Basalt will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Bayfield (Bayfield, CO).
