Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA) and the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), observed Chilhowie's volleyball team top Grayson County by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record.

The Blue Devils now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Grayson County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
