The East Columbus Gators were victorious over the visiting South Columbus Stallions volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Gators now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. East Columbus will play a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, South Columbus drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Stallions host Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Heide Trask lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)
