In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers.

The Patriots (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary's was beaten by Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers face the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) in a test, on Thursday, September 11. Triangle Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
