In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host West Bladen Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Union Spartans.
The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Whiteville went down by West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Columbus for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Union will face a Gators squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Gators record now stands at 3-0.
