North Carolina High School Soccer - Highland Tech knocks off Cherryville

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Highland Tech Rams soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Cherryville Ironmen.
The Rams (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Pine Lake Prep was overwhelmed by Hough (Cornelius, NC), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Ironmen confront the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A outing, on Monday, September 8. Cherryville will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 6-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC).
