Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Pittston nudges Crestwood

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Pittston Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Crestwood Comets.
The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Cougars come into the Wyoming Valley 1 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Hazleton Area was tipped by Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Comets now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dallas for a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Saturday, September 6. Crestwood will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 1-1 league Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-2.
