The Raleigh Charter Phoenix soccer squad (Raleigh, NC), was edged 1-0 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC)

The Patriots (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Jordan-Matthews nipped Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 5-0, in a non-league match.

The Phoenix now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to NCSSM: Durham for a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A match on Monday, September 8. Raleigh Charter will meet a Unicorns squad coming off a 4-2 league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Unicorns record now stands at 7-0.
