Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Seals (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) in a PIAA District IV-A test, on Tuesday, September 9. Hughesville will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
