The Oilers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cadillac for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Mt. Pleasant will play a Vikings squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Midland falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Chemics travel to Dow (Midland, MI) to face the Chargers in a Saginaw Valley game on Monday, September 8. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 7-3. Dow won 8-0 in their recent league game against Central (Bay City, MI)
