The Longhorns now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hennessey for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Chisholm will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Blackwell (Blackwell, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

The Maroons (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Newkirk was routed by Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK), 6-5, in a non-league test.
