Missouri High School Softball - Winfield sneaks past St. Dominic

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Winfield Warriors softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the St. Dominic Crusaders.
The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Charles (St. Charles, MO). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, St. Charles was nipped by Holt (Wentzville, MO), 15-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the St. Joseph's Academy Angels (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. St. Dominic will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Angels come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Lafayette (Wildwood, MO).
