Georgia High School Volleyball - Roswell over Chattahoochee

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA) and the visiting Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA), observed Roswell's volleyball team top Chattahoochee by a count of 2-0.

The Hornets (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions go into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X Catholic dropped by Lovett (Atlanta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johns Creek for a 5A Area 7 battle on Thursday, September 4. Chattahoochee will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-7.
