Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Cubs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD). The enter the challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Connelly School of the Holy Child was beaten by St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the face the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Holton-Arms will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).
