Arizona High School Volleyball - Gilbert Christian can't get by Valley Christian

The Valley Christian Trojans edged the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).

The Knights (10-1) will now prepare for their game against ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ). The Warriors enter the 3A - Metro match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, ALA - Ironwood held off Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league match.
