Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Great Bridge lost by Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Greyhounds play the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Monday, September 8. Norcom will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pilots go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA).
