In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Southfield Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Hope Christian Academy Hawks.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarenceville (Livonia, MI). The Trojans go into the Michigan Independent - Red test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Clarenceville was defeated by Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roeper for a Michigan Independent - Red test on Thursday, September 4.
