In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the John Marshall Justices.
The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors enter the Central challenge with a 1-3 record.
Next, the Justices meet the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. John Marshall will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA).
