The June Buchanan Crusaders volleyball squad (Pippa Passes, KY), dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY)
The Patriots (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Cavaliers enter the District 53 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Jenkins notched a victory over Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Crusaders meet the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 8. June Buchanan will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Martin County (Inez, KY).
