Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI), 2-0 in a league outing.

The Rockets now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Harbor Beach for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. Reese will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Deckerville (Deckerville, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.

The Lakers (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Vassar (Vassar, MI). The Vulcans go into the Greater Thumb - West game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Vassar gained a win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
