In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the McDonogh 35 Roneagles.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Carver Collegiate Academy beat Cohen (New Orleans, LA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Roneagles face the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. McDonogh 35 will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Salmen (Slidell, LA).
