Illinois High School Volleyball - Red Bud over Roxana

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Red Bud Musketeers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Roxana Shells.

The Musketeers (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Okawville (Okawville, IL). The Rockets go into the Cahokia (Illinois Division) test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Okawville went down by Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Shells now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Breese Central for a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) test on Thursday, September 4. Roxana will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Nashville (Nashville, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
