Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), 3-1 in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Red River will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Southwood drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-1. Evangel Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Benton (Benton, LA)
