The Lincoln Lions topped the host Independence 76ers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host King's Academy for a non-league test on Monday, October 4. Lincoln will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-4.

The 76ers (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders enter the test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Silver Creek was knocked off by Del Mar (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
