North Carolina High School Volleyball - Anson over Monroe

In Thursday's league contest, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bearcats battle the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, October 5. Anson will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC).

With the loss, Monroe moves to 1-12 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Central (Pageland, SC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, October 4. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 1-9. Central lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against North Central (Kershaw, SC)
