The West Greene Pioneers volleyball team (Waynesburg, PA), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host California Trojans (Coal Center, PA)

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Avella (Avella, PA). The Eagles enter the WPIAL 1A 2 challenge with a 0-3 record.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Cameron Dragons (Cameron, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 4. West Greene will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Valley (Pine Grove, WV).
