The Concord Minutemen volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Ygnacio Valley Warriors to 1 in the Minutemen league victory on Thursday.

The Minutemen now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benicia for a Diablo-Valley game on Tuesday, October 5. Concord will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.

The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Swett (Crockett, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Swett dropped by De Anza (El Sobrante, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
