The Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) volleyball overcame the host Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Northview upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH) to face the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 2. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 12-5. St. Joseph Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH)
The Panthers now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bowling Green for a Northern Lakes outing on Tuesday, October 5.

MAUMEE - In the second match-up with Maumee, Northview was able to sweep the Panthers for the second time this year, 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.
Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with a team high 12 kills, hitting .500, 11 digs, 2 aces and 2 blocks. Also leading for the Kats was junior outside hitter, Kam Hunt with 11 kills, 8 digs, a 2.21 passing rating and a team high 3 aces. Sophomore setter, Natalie Kerchevall was consistent as ever with 6 kills, hitting .545, 25 assists and 10 digs for another career double-double. Junior libero, Dani Wardrop had a team high 16 digs. All fifteen of the rostered athletes made an appearance in this match - a true total team effort.
Northview returns to the court on Saturday as they travel to #5 Cleveland St. Joseph's Academy with Freshman at 10:00 A.M., JV at 11:00 A.M. and Varsity at 12:30 P.M.
